TRRM’s New Website Brings the “Museum Without Walls” Model to Life
We are excited to announce our new website is now live at https://trinidadrailroadmuseum.org (or the short version, https://trrm.co). We are still in the process of developing new features and adding content, but this will be the main internet presence for Trinidad Railroad Museum. Soon we will be adding:
- Online exhibits for Colorado & Southern Steam Locomotive 638 and our 150 Years of Trinidad Railroad History Timeline
- Online collections of our artifacts, including railroad passes, locks, keys, maps, photos, lanterns, schedules and other ephemera
- Blog posts about our research, exhibit development, local history, events and more
- Additional travel information, including guides for railfans traveling through Southern Colorado

We are also looking for volunteers to help build the next phase of the museum. Please reach out if you are interested in:
- Contributing your experience with and knowledge of finance, law, non-profit administration, collection management, or other specialized skills as a member of our Board of Directors
- Volunteering to help produce and/or manage content for blog posts, social media, educational content, and other historical interpretative content
- Helping us collect stories from local residents who have experiences and memories about railroading in the Trinidad area
